So sweet!! ♥️

This is George and Martha! Our facility birds. George and Martha are both Ringneck Doves.

George being approximately 13 years old, and Martha being 3 years old. George enjoys the attention from staff, residents, and his mate Martha. George also enjoys assisting in Puzzles! His Mate on the other hand prefers to keep to herself and sit on her eggs.
They both enjoy a daily dose of chop made by our receptionist, that George wears proudly on his white feathers!

They together have raised three babies that have all gone to loving homes. 🕊️

Fun fact: unfledged baby doves are called "squabs" and when they become fledged, they are then called "squeakers"!

This is one of their handsome babies! Dovie! Looks just like his daddy!

I love making chop for my birds and sharing with George & Martha 💕

On the left is Frankie! Their first baby, hanging with my conure, Sydney!

For part of our Olympic Games we enjoyed Bean Bag Bocce! Even if it was meant for the Olympics, it may make its appearance on future calendars! Residents showed off their metals and ribbons at our award ceremony. Everyone did a fantastic job, and left with a little something to show their efforts. 😉 ... See MoreSee Less
